Overview

Habits & Hydras turns logged activity into XP, levels, streaks and quests. Fitness, study, reading, nutrition, sleep, mindfulness and creative sessions all feed one progression system, with a rewards shop and a guild layer on top.

The distinguishing choice is the XP rules editor. The formula that converts an activity into experience is not hidden — you can open it and change it. A gamification system whose scoring you cannot inspect is asking for trust it has not earned.

Guest sign-in means the app is usable without ever giving an email address. Where you do have an account, Settings → Privacy carries real server-side switches for the leaderboard and the activity feed — they take effect on the server, not just in the interface.
