Fixture

Overview

Fixture runs the whole life of a local competition. Clubs and teams, invitations and availability, fixtures and lineups, live sport-aware scoring, tournaments, player auctions — and the part every group actually argues about, the ledger of who still owes for the ground.

The design is monochrome on purpose: ink on paper with four greys, hierarchy from weight and space rather than colour. There is exactly one functional exception, a single red used only to mark a match happening right now. It is a broadcast tally light, not a brand colour.

The signature element is the over ribbon — six tokens in a row, the way every paper scorebook in the country renders a passage of play. It carries something no scoreline does: rhythm. Four dots then a six reads differently from six singles, and a wicket inverts the token to solid ink.
